Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to Southwind High School! We are so happy that you have chosen this school to continue your education. I am excited to introduce myself as your Chemistry teacher. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. I graduated with my Master of Art Degree in Education from Union University. I decided to become a teacher because I love working with young people, and I love chemistry.
There are many great expectations for all of the students in my class. We will discuss them on the first day of school. I believe all students can learn, and feel positive that each of you will experience a successful year. I am hopeful that your achievement will be enhanced through cooperation, inquiry, and active participation.
Upper class students, I am sure you have faced some academic challenges during the past year(s). Congratulations! You made it! Now reinforce your learning by helping someone else at Southwind High School, and continue to strive for greater accomplishments.
I hope to continuously observe academic progress throughout all of your years at Southwind. Please feel free to consult with me about any problem or concern related to your class work. I want you to learn, and enjoy the course(s)
Sincerely,
Ms. Bonds
